Train
Solitaire
This is a game for 1 person only.
The object is to get down to where you have only 5 or less cards
left.
1. The player shuffles the cards and holds them face down in his
hand.
2. The player takes four cards, one at a time, from the bottom
of the deck, and fans them out on the top of the face down cards
in his hand. Whenever the player draws a card, he places it to the
right of the other card or cards in his hand.
3. If the first and fourth cards (starting from the right of your
hand) are the same suit, remove the two middle cards and place them
face down in a pile on the table.
4. If the first and fourth cards are the same suit and next to
each other in order (such as an 8 of hearts and a 9 of hearts),
remove the first 3 cards (starting from the right of your hand)
and place them face down on the pile on the table.
5. If the first and fourth cards are the same (such as a 5 of spades
and a 5 of diamonds), remove all four cards and place them face
down on the pile on the table.
6. Keep adding cards from the bottom of the pack, always remembering
to read the 1st and 4th cards.
7. If you have more than five cards left, pick up all the cards
and use them again. Remember, you can only pick up the deck once.
